4. Stand Up Comedy (Punch Pe Punch)

Rules:

  • Maximum time limit being 8-10 min.
  • Extreme vulgarity will not be tolerated, even though in jokes.
  • Participants can perform alone or along with one companion(but more than 2 persons in a single performance will not be allowed).

5. Mono Acting (Abhivyakti)

Rules:

  • Maximum time 5 min
  • Language allowed Hindi/English
  • Performance should be a single act with no blackout.
  • Background music allowed, and submission the audios is through, expected to be delivers 1 hour prior to the event.
  • Only one accompanist is allowed.
  • Props may also be used as long as they can be cleared from the floor once performance is finished.

  • Karaoke cassettes are allowed. (Provided without any vocals, otherwise would be disqualified).
  • Accompanists should be arranged by participants. (If any)
  • Participants are allowed to sing without any accompanists or karaoke.
  • Maximum of two accompanists on stage permitted for categories Solo and Duet, and maximum of 3 accompanists for the group category.

Rules:

  • Time limit is 4-5 min.
  • Background music and video are allowed. Tracks to be submitted 1 hour prior to the registration counter.
  • No vocals, prerecorded or singer on the stage will also not be allowed.
  • Decency and discipline in every aspect will be expected.
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  • Props are allowed, to be brought by the participant, and will not be provided by the organizers.
  • No blackouts will be provided, the whole scene will be in a single scene.

Entertain the crowd by doing anything and everything including beatboxing, mimicry, stand-up comedy, acrobatics, juggling, acting, magic, solving a Rubik’s cube etc. or other talent the participant wishes to perform, he/she is most welcome.

13. Street Play (Nukkad)

Rules:

  • Team should consist minimum of 8 participants and maximum of 20 Participants
  • Teams should restrict their play in 12 mins time. (10 mins: warning bell, 12 mins: final bell)
  • Teams exceeding the 10 mins Final Bell will attract negative marks.
  • The Competition will be conducted on a “Street” like open place and hence no microphones, Speakers, Music systems will be allowed or available.
  • Teams can sing / dance by themselves to create the necessary music or sound.
  • Teams using any props / Costume / Dressing must bring all their requirements and must be ready well in time as per instructions of the organizer.
  • No Props or costume or any material will be provided by the organizers.
  • Teams must rehearse / practice the play well in advance. No Time for rehearsal / Stage practice / final rehearsal will be given during the fest.

Rules:

  • Registration on stage 2 hours prior to the scheduled time of event.
  • Whole team is to be present at least one hour before the event.
  • Each college can have maximum 2 teams.

  • Some instruments to be provided by the institute and will be duly notified. Participants must bring their own instruments.
  • Time limit 10 minutes (max.), time allotted for setting up the instruments would not be more than 5 minutes.
